For fresh water samples filtration and dilution will be required.
A short guide regarding how to prepare and send samples to you lab
Quantity required: 250 ml sample in two bottles of 125 ml each in pre-cleaned good quality polyethylene bottles (Tarson or equivalent make) one filtered sample and one unfiltered sample.
Direct collection of water in pre-cleaned good quality polyethylene bottles (Tarson or equivalent make). Filter the sample with 0.2 micron nylon filter and store in 125 ml bottle. Remaining unfiltered sample may be stored in in 125 or 250 ml bottle. Please provide following information also while sending samples for analysis.
